Terms of Service

1. The Service

ArticleAI is a self-serve platform that uses AI to generate SEO-formatted articles for UK roofing businesses based on the inputs you provide (target keyword, location, business details, and other optional parameters). Output quality depends on the inputs you supply.

No outcome guarantee. We do not guarantee any specific search engine ranking, traffic, leads, sales, or other commercial result from using our articles. SEO outcomes depend on factors outside our control.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the service.

3. Packages, Payment & Credits

All packages are one-time purchases processed by Stripe. Current packages are:

• Starter — 5 articles + 3 revisions.
• Growth — 10 articles + 5 revisions.
• Engine — 20 articles + 15 revisions.

Articles are consumed one per generation. Revisions are consumed each time you regenerate an article and are pooled at the account level. Packages stack — buying another package adds the credits and revisions to your existing balance.

4. Free Trial

Brand-new accounts may receive their first 2 articles free, no card required. The free trial only applies to accounts that have not yet generated any articles. The trial has no cash value and is not refundable.

5. Refunds

All package purchases are final and non-refundable. By purchasing a package, you acknowledge that you lose any statutory right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Once you have bought a package, no refund will be issued for any reason, including non-use, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with the output.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use the service to:

• Generate illegal, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Misrepresent who or what your business is.
• Resell, white-label, or sub-license the service without our written permission.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Submit content that violates a third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Articles are generated by AI from the inputs you provide. They are not reviewed by a human editor before delivery and may contain factual errors, outdated information, or content that is unsuitable for your specific business or audience. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing every article before publishing it. We are not liable for the consequences of publishing AI-generated content without review.

8. Content Ownership

You own the articles generated for your account, subject to the underlying terms of the AI providers we use. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the articles complies with applicable laws and any third-party rights.

9. Third-Party Integrations

The service integrates with third-party tools (e.g. WordPress publishing via Application Passwords, Stripe for payments, OpenAI for generation). These integrations are provided as-is. We are not responsible for issues, downtime, content loss, or damages arising on third-party platforms.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We are not liable for downtime or for delays caused by upstream providers (e.g. OpenAI, Stripe, Supabase).

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the amount you paid us for the package giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost rankings, lost leads, loss of goodwill, or loss of data.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (refunds, ownership, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
